What if you land in a job that you don't have a fetish for ?

Although this may sound a bit absurd in a common sensical way, but this is the bitter truth when we job hop in pursuit of a single goal, a satisfying, promising and secure career goal.

But the best way to tackle this kind of a situation is to immediately take a resolve, either I am going to quit this job right now and better find a job that I want to do.. or else I'll have to groom myself using my flexibility to do the job that I am, anyway supposed to do. Agreed, the second alternative might not sound like a hunky dory escapade from the pathetic situation you feel you are in, it sure can help you survive and get you going in your current job, till the time you look out for and land a job that you always desired of being into.

Wishing you joy prosperity and success in 2011,

God Bless..!!

My Management Perceptions # 1

One aspect of management, to me, means empowering my people, my team; by delegating them, not only tasks & jobs, but also responsibilities and ownership. I would prefer them to be answerable for the tasks and responsibilities entrusted to them and if, god forbid, something goes wrong in the due course, I would be proudly willing to make myself answerable for their mistakes. You Share... Shows That You Care!

Can't agree more to the phrase that 'Sharing is Caring'. Heard about this during my kidhood days. Back then, we were proactively encouraged to share; often sharing used to be our goodies, lunch boxes, and similar sweet nothings. Fast forward to today, amusingly this belief still holds pretty good, and has got stronger. Sharing now means exchanging our lives & times with folks and much more.

Although one was a bit familiar with the concept of expressing oneself to the world using blogs, my experience with the blogosphere, however, was confined to reading the blog posts of a few personalities only. With time though, this perception has changed. So one fine day, I decided to create an expressive forum with the intent to share ideas, thoughts & point of views which we possess with changing times, changing lifestyles we live, changing aspirations we develop and the continuously changing set of challenges and opportunity we deal with. This is, albeit a small fraction of what can be done on a blog... it is an efficient outlet for sharing ideas and thoughts that might or might not make a difference.. but will definitely help us feel a little better, as we express it out!
